Electronic Press Kit
High-energy funk, soul, and disco, built for festival main stages, fairs, and weddings.
Buckeye Funk is a Columbus-based funk and disco band built to move big crowds. Fronted by powerhouse female vocalists with tight harmonies and commanding stage presence, the band delivers the funk, disco, and groove essentials of the 70s and 80s.
The band scales from six to nine pieces depending on the stage, the event, and what the crowd calls for. Festival main stages, fairs, weddings, club nights, and private and corporate events all get the same level of energy.
They've headlined Summit Music Hall, played ComFest, the Delphos 4th of July, Gateway Groove, and stages across Ohio. The reputation is simple: big sound, festival-ready energy, and a crowd that doesn't sit down.
